We all have our own checklists and list of non-negotiables when buying a home. If you’re lucky, you find The One after touring a few properties. But especially these days, it may take a few months before you find exactly what you need. My clients were older couples who’d been trying to find home for the longest time. After failing to find one that met their needs, they decided to get in touch with me to help them build their new home, instead.  They plan to age in place in this new home for years to come.  And there is no conflict to provide them with the ability to age in place in style and comfort!

The main thing they wanted for their home was to have two master bedrooms on the first floor that showcases their own personalities. They couple wanted to age in place and have different sleeping times and habits, so they decided that they each needed their own space. The luxurious marble bathroom has a walk-in tub in the walk-in curbless shower room for them to soak in comfort.

Their kitchen is spacious and bright, with gorgeous full quartzite slabs as backsplash.  The veining of the stone slab is reminiscent of the mountain landscapes of many Asian paintings, which pays homage to where they are from.
